Uncertainty clouds my mind and emotions.
Glimmers of hope and comradery peak through
The ebony void of self-doubt and shame.
Fear of loss and failure loom like the shadow of a mountain at dusk.
Darkness of night is neigh.
What could possibly still the falling of the sun?
Only melodies play in my heart,
Harmonies are in the past.
I am a craven creature cowering in isolation.
When will I dream of life and not death?
The process is the same, I just have to do it.
But how?
Time will tell eventually; my impatience impedes my hope.
How can I choose to believe when history repeats?
I'm either on the brink of death or happiness.
Why not choose happiness?
Is it even my choice to make?
