- Whatever you do, do something to make yourself proud.

- Do it for yourself, not anyone else.

- Doing anything with the worry of approval distracts from its quality.

- Take every step with excitement, even when you're not understood.

- Meet doubt light-heartedly, nobody listened to Einstein at first; prove them wrong with patient, humble determination/confidence.

- Identify the pesky shifts of inner criticism and remain excited.

- Remind yourself how proud, at peace, and accomplished you'll feel compared to how you'll feel if you give in to temptation.

- Engage in healthy activities with fun. (Not to get fun).

- Stay vigilant. The laziest thought can destroy you.

- Give yourself time to comfortably enjoy completing your goals; false urgency steals focus, enjoyment, and willingness to continue.

- It's okay to do a little now and a little later; just do something now.

- Ask yourself, “What else am I going to do?” when you don't want to start.

- It's okay to feel exhausted and still function. You won't die. Identify that anxiety and keep moving.

- It's never too late to start. It's never too early to start.

- It's about living, not feeling good/comfortable. Distraction will try to convince you it would feel “better” to *insert activity here*. Don't listen. Time moves on and you'll feel just fine keeping focused.

- Actively distract yourself from anxiety/temptation. Anything is good.

- Engaging in your passions/old hobbies is not a waste of time. Don't feel guilty.

You can't break out of boredom/temptation/anxiety by thinking about it. You have to DO things.
