I Want.

My entire mind is screaming, “I WANT!”
instead of looking at what I have.
I want endlessly, shamelessly, stubbornly.
What would life look like if I could
have everything I wanted when I wanted it?
Fickle, to say the very least.
A constant frenzy of “undo” and “redo”
over and over again, copies and pastes.
I doubt I'd be much more content
than I already am now...
I don't feel content.

I wish to kill time creatively,
pushing the ink of this pen to
find words and phrases, hoping
they fall into place on the page
in a well-structured format.

Not syllables or rhymes, but letter space
dictates the flow of this prose,
dropping out
early
to vary the pace and comfort of my 
judging eyes and mind.

Damn.
