Dear Creativity,

When we last corresponded, I recall a bitter rage had pushed my pen to berate you and your untimely absence. For this, I would like to formally apologize. You see I now believe that at the time I was jaded, jealous, and lonely for you. The memories of masterpieces we’d made together had engulfed every cavity of my expressive wealth, rendering me overrun with craving yet closed to your control. The vain drag of countless pen and pencil tips have sullied the smooth surfaces of a slew of spiral and journal pages, leaving bastardized scrawls of ink where your grace was meant to rest.
