A brown eared rabbit, he had been tangled and ensnared by some vagabond’s thoughtless left-behind garbage in the otherwise pristine city park. Caught in stressful terror for his mortal life, he writhed about in agony, pulling and fighting against the tightening plastic discarded heartlessly. So bewildered was he that he couldn’t see his struggles were only making his suffering greater – it was bringing death closer with his every futile flail. It was then, a passerby noticed his plight. A kind-hearted woman clad in hospital scrubs strayed from her familiar path to offer him aid. She calmly soothed his agitation while going to work on untangling the trash around his neck. He resisted with persistence, but her patience was greater. It appeared his predicament had been a long lasting battle, so when she had finally released the plastic around his neck, she took him home to see he recovered. They fell in love with each other overnight. The bright-eyed rabbit was prone to accidents that at times caused his savior great fear, but over time, he settled down his dangerous behaviors and found his footing all over again. He was the luckiest bunny for without her soft, steadfast caring, he would certainly be dead.
