5/12/15 While negativity requires reason and explanation, happiness does not. Searching for proof of happiness with external expectations or reasoning will undoubtedly fail. Happiness is what remains when you let go of the need for control, and instead accept yourself and the world around you- as it is, now how it “should be.” Sitting around and thinking about “what’s wrong” does nothing to make things better; it only convinces you more of “what’s wrong” in the first place- regardless of reality.
